Services

Gentle in-home end-of-life care for dogs and cats.

In-Home Euthanasia

A peaceful, unhurried visit in the comfort of your home. The visit typically lasts 60 minutes and is paced to your family, not to a clock.

Includes:

  • A brief consultation about your pet’s history and current quality of life
  • A gentle sedative so your pet drifts into a deep, comfortable sleep before the final goodbye
  • The peaceful passing, while you hold them
  • Time afterwards - I accommodate your pace
  • Paw-print or fur-clipping keepsake on request
  • Coordination with aftercare and cremation services - full service back to your home

Quality-of-Life Consultation

Not sure if it’s time? A separate, quieter visit to talk through how your pet is doing. I use practical, evidence-based scales (such as the HHHHHMM scale) so you can make a confident, informed decision - without pressure. More on this process is in the FAQ.

Aftercare Coordination

Dr. Balsara works with established Lower Mainland providers for private and communal cremation. Aftercare wishes as per your instructions.
